Amy Daniher was born and raised in Kansas City. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine as was honored as one of the best senior residents. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Daniher began private practice in San Mateo in 2001. She initially was part of the Mills Peninsula Medical Group before she became and independent physician. She is currently a member of the San Mateo Country Medical Association, and American Medical Association.
Dr. Daniher enjoys working with patients of all ages, but especially her older patients. She has a special interest in celiac disease and gluten intolerance.
Dr. Daniher is married and resides on the peninsula. She has three children. When not caring for patients she enjoys being outdoors, photography, gardening and North Carolina basketball.
Shawna Guzman, Office Manager
Shawna was born and raised in the Bay Area. She has been working for us as a medical assistant and an office manager since 2004. A self-described “soccer-mom” and “baseball-mom,” she spends most of her free time chasing after her two young children. In her free time, she cheers on the Giants and 49ers, and spends most vacations at Disneyland.
